On 07-28-11, the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 500 block of South Graham Street in reference to a report of a residential burglary. Officers learned an unknown suspect entered a building undergoing renovation and stole property sometime between 07-24-11 at 4:00 p.m. and 07-28-11 at 8:00 a.m. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

type of information can you report?
The
police are seeking information from the Carbondale and SIUC communities
about any criminal activity you know about, have

course, the police are always wanting information on:

whereabouts of persons with outstanding warrants issued for
their arrest

The Southern Illinois University Carbondale Department of Public Safety is investigating a report of a theft of two (2) goal post pads valued at $2,000.00. The goal post pads were taken somteime between 2:00 p.m. on July 19th and 3:45 p.m. on July 21st 2011. They are described as 8 feet long and 2 feet in diameter. Please see attachment
